Privacy Policy
How Logan Mechanical, LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects your information — and the choices and rights you have.
Last updated: June 26, 2026
The short version
We collect the information you give us (like your name, phone, and the details of your service request) and basic data your browser shares so the site works and we can follow up. We use it to provide and improve our HVAC services, respond to you, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information. We use the phone number you give us to follow up about your request — we don’t run a marketing text program. You can ask us to access or delete your information using the contact details below.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Logan Mechanical, LLC (“Logan Mechanical,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information collected through loganmechanical.org and our related phone, text, email, and in-person interactions. Our principal place of business is 9134 Piscataway Road #1552, Clinton, MD 20735. We provide heating, cooling, and air-quality services across Maryland · Washington, D.C. · Virginia.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: name, phone number, email, service address, and the details you share in a contact/estimate form, by phone, by text, or by email.
- Service information: the equipment, symptoms, scheduling, and history related to the work you ask us to perform.
- Automatically collected usage data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar analytics data collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Communications: the content of messages you send us when you contact us by form, email, phone, or text.
3. How we collect information
We collect information (a) directly from you when you contact us or request service; (b) automatically as you use the site (cookies, analytics, and similar technologies); and (c) from service providers who help us operate the site and our business (for example, analytics, advertising, hosting, scheduling, and call/lead providers).
4. How we use your information
- Respond to inquiries and provide quotes, scheduling, and services you request.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site and our services.
- Send service-related communications and, with your consent where required, marketing.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only with categories of recipients who support our business and under appropriate confidentiality terms: service providers (hosting, analytics, advertising, communications, and scheduling providers, and — where offered — financing partners), professional advisors, and authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We may also share information in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or sale). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
6. Cookies, analytics & advertising
We may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and for analytics to understand how the site is used. Where any analytics or marketing technologies are used, you can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out through the relevant providers’ own controls. We honor recognized browser-based opt-out signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by law.
7. Phone calls & text messages
When you give us your phone number — for example, in a contact or estimate form — we use it to call or text you back about your request and to provide the services you ask for. We do not operate an automated or mass-marketing text-messaging program, we do not use an SMS short code, and we do not send bulk promotional texts. If a member of our team texts you directly about your job, standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to ask us to stop texting. We never sell or share your phone number, and your consent to be contacted is never shared with third parties for their own marketing. If we introduce a formal text-messaging program in the future, we will update this policy and obtain any consent the law requires.
8. Automated tools & estimates
Our site offers interactive tools (such as cost, sizing, and repair-or-replace estimators and a symptom guide) that produce general, illustrative results based on the inputs you provide. These outputs are educational only, are not a quote or professional diagnosis, and do not create any obligation. See our Terms & Conditions for details.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. This includes residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and other states with comparable laws (for example, Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut). To exercise a right, contact us using §16 below; we will verify and respond as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
10. Your Privacy Choices: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Logan Mechanical does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide the required opt-out mechanism.
What we collect through this website. Identifiers you give us in a form or on a call, such as your name, phone number, email address, and service address. We also collect internet activity from analytics and advertising tools we actually run on this site: Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. We do not collect precise geolocation, biometric data, or financial account numbers on this website. We do not accept card payments on this site.
How to exercise your choices. You have two ways to opt out of analytics and advertising storage, and you do not need an account to use either one:
- Use the cookie notice on this site to decline analytics and advertising cookies. Your choice is saved on your device and applied again when you return.
- Send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser or extension. We detect the signal automatically and turn off advertising and analytics storage with no further action from you.
You may also ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Contact us using the details in §16. We will verify your request and respond as required by law. We will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
11. Children’s privacy
The site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to provide services, and to meet legal, tax, accounting, warranty, and dispute-resolution obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Payment security. We do not collect, process, or store credit card or bank account numbers on this website. There is no card entry form anywhere on this site. If you pay us for work, payment is handled in person or through a payment provider that collects the card details directly on its own secure system. Never send card numbers to us by email or through a form on this site.
14. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision, and changes take effect when posted.
