Pricing builder questions

Are these real prices or just estimates?

They're Logan Mechanical's real, all-in installed prices for the exact equipment bundle shown — the same numbers our Comfort Advisors quote in your home. Because you're telling us about your system rather than us measuring it, we call it a soft proposal: we confirm sizing, electrical, and any duct or line-set work at a free in-home visit, then send the final written proposal.

What do Standard, Comfort, Performance, and Performance Plus mean?

They're our four efficiency tiers. For Trane central systems that's roughly 14, 17, 18, and 20 SEER2. For Mitsubishi ductless, Performance and Performance Plus are Hyper-Heating H2i® outdoor units that keep heating through sub-freezing winters. Higher tiers cost more up front, run quieter, use less electricity, and usually qualify for bigger rebates and longer 0% financing terms.

How do I know my tonnage or room size?

For central systems, the model number on your outdoor unit's data plate has the size in it: 018 = 1.5 ton, 024 = 2 ton, 030 = 2.5, 036 = 3, 042 = 3.5, 048 = 4, 060 = 5 ton. For ductless, pick by room size — about 9,000 BTU for a bedroom and 18,000 BTU for an open living area. If you're not sure, choose your best guess; we confirm with a Manual J load calculation before anything is ordered.

What's included in the price?

Equipment, professional installation by our union-trained crew, startup, and warranty registration, plus the install materials listed on each proposal (disconnect, whip, pad, condensate safety switch, line sets and drains for ductless, and a branch box on multi-zone systems). Permits and any needed electrical or duct upgrades are confirmed at your visit.

How does the 0% financing work?

Each proposal shows a monthly figure at 0% interest over the term for that equipment — 18 to 72 months on Trane, 24 months on Mitsubishi and 60 months on Hyper-Heat models — subject to credit approval through our lending partners. You can also apply on our financing page before your visit.

Why do you ask for my contact info before showing prices?

Because it's a proposal, not a price list — we put your name on it and email you a written copy so you don't lose it. We never sell or share your information, and there's no obligation.
